Why Private Classes?
Since you’re learning at your own pace, your instructor can often teach you the content from two or more group lessons in a single private session. Learning quicker means making your test prep and promotion go by faster as well!
Do you feel like class is going too fast and you are falling behind? Or do you feel like you are bored during class and are ready for more? Then private lessons are for you! You can’t always choose who your partners are in group classes. Or you may be nursing an injury, or you have some special needs when training, private classes are your safest option!
Once you complete each of the Gracie Combatives® lessons three times, and you’ve completed at least 12 Reflex Development Classes, you are eligible to test for your Gracie Combatives® belt! We will administer a 25-minute test to assess your ability to execute the 36 essential techniques individually and in combination. If your reflexes are sharp and your performance meets Gracie University standards, you will qualify for promotion.

Gracie Private Lessons
Private lessons are often a perfect option for children or adult students with physical or mental limitations. Although we are confident that our group classes are the most accommodating in the industry, the level of individualized care and instruction that a certified Gracie University instructor can provide in a private lesson is unparalleled.
We will tailor private lessons to fit any student’s needs. Private lesson students also receive the same benefits through Gracie University as our group class students do. When you sign up, you will be given free access to your course of study online. This will allow you to study at home, and double your retention. All Gracie CTC students also enjoy free satellite training at any CTC around the world when they travel.
Striking Skills Private Lessons
The Striking Skills group class is top notch, but there is no better way to build and improve skills than private classes. As with our Jiu-Jitsu classes, private lessons are a great way to consolidate what you learn in the group program.
